A number of features presented Facebook here, among other Facebook Chat,ticker feeds and notifications. ZDNet reported and quoted on Friday (12/30/2011),this application was developed entirely by Facebook and does not involveMicrosoft in the making.
Actual application has been tested in November and this only works for Windows7. The launch is the release followed a similar application for IOS, Android and BlackBerry.
"We kept trying to make up for Messenger is easily accessible from differentplatforms," said a spokeswoman for Facebook. "Messenger is available foriPhone, Android, BlackBerry and now we present it for Windows, a new desktop application," added Facebook.
With a desktop client, users can still chat while browsing, without having to openFacebook.com. By default it is made unlocked, so that users can pan and move iton screen.
Indeed, in addition to Facebook Messenger for Windows, many third-party applications that offer a variety of Facebook activity. However, a formal application is claimed to deliver a more comfortable usage experience
Facebook is not yet known whether the latter will offer support for the operatingsystem before Windows 7 or move directly into Windows 8. Was also for Mac andLinux, Facebook has not said anything.
