The second generation of ready detachable screen Gorilla Glass. Not only claimed to make the phone more 'fierce' withstand the friction, but this series also makes the phone look more sleek.
It's trying to show through demonstrations on the sidelines of the International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas, United States.
According to Corning Incorporated, owner of Gorilla Glass technology, the latest series is claimed to be about 20% thinner, lighter, more responsive to receiving the touch, and more resistant to friction than the previous version.
"We designed this latest Gorilla Glass to be thinner without reducing image quality,"said James Steiner, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Corning.
The name of Gorilla Glass started sticking since 2007, until now the technology isalready used in 575 gadgets from 30 different companies. So that was quoted Updatec.com fromPCMag, Thursday (12/01/2011).
