Criticism pumping following the announcement conveyed microblogging site Twitterthat are now able to censor the tweet.
Responding to critics, Twitter confirms its site remains committed to the freedom of speech. Explained Twitter, tweet that violates the law in one country can still be seenin any other country.
To signify a censored tweet, Twitter will provide notification to the tweet. According to him, this policy just as Google.
"We will not delete anything unless tweet tweet it should be treated accordingly.That, too, after a careful review was made in the internal circles," a statement onTwitter as reported by the Los Angeles Times (01/29/2012).
Twitter Said, just tweet the censored deliberately shown to the public so that the usercan issue an opinion or protest regarding the tweets that were censored.
"One of our core values as a company is to defend and respect the opinion of each user. We strive to keep your content wherever and whenever we can, and will be transparent if we can not do," said Twitter.
