Owner of the Firefox browser, Mozilla is planning to go on the App Store, to compete with Apple, Google and other technology companies. Mozilla wants to challenge the creativity of the developer to utilize the entire web as their potential market, not just Apple's App Store or Android Market and the Google Chrome Market.
"Web have made it easier to develop than a proprietary platform, including expand the existing Mozilla Marketplace for a variety of devices," Mozilla said.
Later, the Marketplace web-app that existing not only for desktop computers but also includes mobile and tablet. The application will support any browser, no matter with the device or use any OS.
HTML5 is interesting to develop the technology and applications continues to grow rapidly. Therefore, when combined with the freedom to make whatever you want developers and distribute directly to users will be potentially large.
"The goal is to encourage the Mozilla ecosystem that combines the bestelements of the web with the best elements of the application model," Mozilla said. Mozilla has not elaborate on the application store. At the Mobile Word Congress 2012 event, they will be exhibited to the public.
