Via Microsoft's official Twitter account, Windows 8 development team break the news of this news through a simple tweet on Thursday. "One day later ...one million downloads of the consumer preview," they twit.
Windows 8 Consumer Preview is development of the Developer Previe released last September. Microsoft will continue to develop it gradually until finally ready to be released for the tablet, laptop or desktop end of this year.
